Female Waking Night Support Workers

📍 Locations: Capel-le-Ferne & Dover
💷 Salary: £12.26 per hour
🕒 Hours: 1 x 30hrs & 1 x 20hrs per week (night shifts)

 

 For genuine occupational reasons, we are recruiting female candidates only (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).

At Aspirations Care, we support adults with physical disabilities and learning disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. We’re looking for two female waking night support workers to join our team in Capel-le-Ferne and Dover.

If you’re calm, compassionate, and want to make a real impact through night-time support, this is a role where your presence truly matters.

Who You’ll Be Supporting

You'll support two individuals in a shared home, providing 1:1 person-centred care throughout the night.

👨 Gentleman (Late 50s)

  • Uses a wheelchair

  • Loves boat trips, wildlife, shopping, music, and being out daily

  • Needs an adventurous, fun support worker who can keep up with his love for activities

  • Driver preferred (he has his own vehicle)

👩 Lady (40s)

  • Also a wheelchair user

  • Loves shopping, musicals, theatre trips, and pampering sessions

  • Enjoys sensory lights, perfumes, and dressing up

  • Seeks a bubbly, girly support worker who’s up for fun, new experiences

  • Driver preferred (has her own adapted car)

Your Role (Waking Nights)

As a Waking Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs

  • Administering medication (with training)

  • Completing accurate care records and handovers

  • Promoting dignity, comfort, and safety throughout the night

  • Supporting household tasks and maintaining a calm, restful environment

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential – we provide full training

  • Kind, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for care

  • Able to remain alert, supportive, and compassionate during night hours

  • A team player with a good sense of humour

  • A driver is preferred but not required
