📍 Location: Hinckley, Leicester 
💷 Salary: £13.26 per hour
🕒 Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week (rota includes nights, weekends & bank holidays)

At Aspirations Care, we’re looking for a Senior Support Worker in Leicester to help shape a positive, person-centred service for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• 🧩 Support individuals with daily living, social engagement & independence

• 👥 Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care

• 📋 Maintain accurate records and risk assessments (paper and electronic)

• 💬 Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and the wider team

• 🏠 Foster a safe, caring, and empowering home environment

• 📈 Help shape a responsive, inclusive, and well-led service

• 🔒 Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and person-centred practice at all times

What We’re Looking For

• ✔️ At least 3 years’ experience in social care, including time as a Senior Support Worker

• 📚 Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 (minimum), and willing to work towards Level 3

• 🧠 Solid understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs

• 🖥️ Competent with IT – Word, email, record keeping, and care systems

• 💡 Strong leadership skills, flexibility, and a positive, proactive mindset

• 🛡️ Experience with safeguarding, risk assessment, team supervision, and promoting independence
