The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Area Registered Manager to lead our intensive supported living service in Birmingham B33. You’ll ensure the delivery of safe, responsive, and person-centred support while championing our commitment to quality and compliance.

This is a dual-registered CQC role that requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a hands-on approach to service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Register with the CQC for single or dual services as required

  • Champion a positive culture and lead by example in line with Aspirations’ values

  • Ensure safe, person-centred, high-quality care is delivered consistently

  • Build strong partnerships with families, commissioners, and external professionals

  • Monitor service performance, compliance, and quality assurance processes

  • Manage service budgets and staffing levels in line with commissioned support

  • Lead recruitment, induction, and training of staff to create high-performing teams

  • Identify new business opportunities in collaboration with the Business Development Team

  • Proactively manage voids and contribute to service growth and financial viability

  • Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and health & safety practices


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards)

  • Strong experience in managing services for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs

  • Proven leadership in supported living or similar adult care services

  • Familiar with CQC standards and best practices in regulated environments

  • Skilled in person-centred planning, safeguarding, risk management, and PBS

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Flexible, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact


Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Enhanced DBS check (paid for by us)

  • Satisfactory references
